This seems like ages ago, but I still wanted to share this exciting project with you!
In December I was contacted by dutch ad agency UbachsWisbrun / JWT to build miniature scenes inside a christmas gift. I only had a few days to build the whole box and to put the rooms together. Then the people were photographed and I added them as flat paper cutouts to the scenes. And here you have the final result!
Here are the rooms before retouching so you get to see more of the details that went into each room.

ReplyDeleteI love the use of cutouts in miniature scenes. Dollhouse dolls can look so weird but cutouts add realism and whimsy.
