I'm still super busy with non-miniature work but I just had to share some photos of this amazing house with you! Last month I was contacted by a very talented set designer from Berlin who was after a few of my furniture pieces. Her job was to build a modern dolls' house to be used as a pretty important prop in a film (I can't go into details yet). After a couple of Skype conversations I agreed to lend a large part of my 1:16 collection to her and here you have the result! Isn't this house incredible? My favourite part is definitely the wooden ceiling - very mid-century modern.
I will let you know as soon as the film is out.

  1. The house is incredible. How exciting for you to have your furniture used in a film. You should have insisted that after filming the house would be yours for a fee since you shared the furnishings.....LOL
I look forward to hearing more when you can talk about it!

  2. It is a wonderful mid-20th house. And as you said the best part is the wooden celling and the fireplace .

  4. The house is fabulous. I agree with Patty ~ the film makers could have gifted you the house since you're being kind enough to lend out your miniatures. You need to hire a PA to haggle terms ;0D

  6. Stunning house, with fabulous detailing! I love the ceiling and the sliding doors! So fun it must be to be a part of this project, and your furniture looks perfect for the house! Have you made the beds yourself?

  7. I would love to own the house :-) But apparently it's mostly made out of card and not very sturdy...
Pubdoll: The bed and the kitchen are Brinca Dada - I think it works really well with the Lundby bits.

  11. I was wondering what happened with that project. I love the design. Too bad the house can't be a prototype for a more durable version for the rest of us. Guess we'll just have to wait for the movie. :)
